pets and attack pathing

i normally use dire wolves as pets but i thought i try some others to see if they worked out. i tried the lap dragon and nearly every time i right clicked on a monster the direwolves would attack but the lap dragon would just sit there and do nothing. hitting R (regroup) would cause it to shift closer a bit and eventually (after repeated regroups) it would start attacking. it's almost like it has a poor/limited visibility??? (especialy noticeable in roomed environments. same goes for the mythrilhorn.

Check if you have Mirror or Rampage on.

If Mirror it is odd, as it should attack the same as you click
If Rampage, probably normal, they engage what they find... (and if they don't spot the enemies...)

i'm definately in mirror mode (it's very noticeable when there's only one monster), there's me an two direwolves attacking a monster and the lap dragon/mythrilhorn just sits there watching us.

while the right click is down, pressing r will cause the lap dragon/mythrilhorn to 'squirm' a little bit closer until it eventually 'sees' whatever we're attacking, it then runs up and joins in.

i might try the elementals instead as they at least will attack from a distace and shouldn't get stuck as such.

I also noticed that with pets using a magical attack (inclusive Mythirlhorn) it takes sometimes very long until they begin their attack. There is somtimes really a notable delay bigger that the reaction time of 1.2sec (defined in pet gas code template).
It specially happens if the enemy itself uses magic to attack too.

Although at least with Mythirlhorn it's _practically_ not so grave. This pets starts sometimes a strange long range attack far away from the enemy as soon as the enemy walks into the perception radius/range of pet.
When one bug compensates the other... Shocked
