Spoofer 1

Spoofer 2

Had I known how it looked from the other guys POV, I think I would have made much better use of this. :)

It is a good unit, and unlike most other T1 units, it remains helpful throughout the course of a game. Heck naval combat in general is much better balanced in the game than land combat is. All naval units are still helpful all the way through.

That being said, I wish the jammer maybe created other types of false radar signals. But in some ways that would be goofy and hard to do well. If the game just started and it looks like there is a battleship sitting offshore..you're not gonna fall for it.

Yea but faking an army of land bots going to the front of a base while you flank it. That would be useful.

Could possibly recode them to project copies of units in the area. So if you have a frigate and a destroyer they'll see a mix of the two. And yes, something ground based with jamming would be great even in its current form. Mobile jammer like the shield gens, would spoof whatever other units you have in the area.

The jammer is one of my favorite abilities mainly because this is the first damn game to actually get this [EDIT] RIGHT. This is what modern radar jammers do.
